OTAFUSE is an ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) and Japanese Pop Culture event organized by a group of passionate hobbyists of the community since 2011. The word “OtaFuse” derived from the word “Otaku” and “Fusion”; Combining various hobbies and communities while serving a platform for individuals to showcase their passion and talent such as Cosplay, Competitive Gaming, Performing Arts, Media Arts and more. OtaFuse is organized under the Japanese Animation and Comic Fan Club Sabah (JACoFCS). Since the 1st event until now, OtaFuse is a non-profit event, aiming to continuously make the best fans for fans event in Sabah. As of 2018, the total attendees of the event were approximately 3500 people.
